Horodky is a mobile game, the goal of which is to knock out certain figures, made of five wooden cylinders, outside the playing square with a bat. The set includes two bats and five towns – cylindrical wooden posts. The cylinders are installed in the area called the ‘city’. The game starts from a long distance – from a cone. If the player knocks out at least one square from the cone, then he makes further throws already from the half-cone – from a short distance. The ‘horodok’ is considered to be knocked out when it is completely gone beyond the boundaries of the square but not beyond its front line.
One game has 15 figures: ‘cannon’, ‘star’, ‘well’, ‘artillery’, ‘machine gun nest’ (or ‘woman in the window’), ‘guards’, ‘shooting point’, ‘fork’, ‘arrow’, ‘crankshaft’, ‘rocket’, ‘crayfish’, ‘sickle’, ‘plane’, ‘leaf’.
